Just thought I would say hello to everyone and compliment the committee on all their hard work. The website is great and I have enjoyed the year books. Its been fun to go back in time.
I still peddle Real Estate here in Redmond where I have worked at it for so many years.
Phyllis and I spend a lot of time with our children and grand children, they are so much fun.
I enjoy hunting and fishing and just spending time outdoors.
I can not make this reunion but hopefully down the road I will be able to make the next one.
I wish the best to you all and have a great time.

May 07, 1952 self employed Married 2 all over the state except high school(redmond) yes no
I have to say, I was so impressed with our class and what they have accomplished over the years.

I had the best time at the reunion.  Kathy and the group went out of their way to grant  us a good time.

I have been married to Tom Holechek for 39 years.  We own and operate a veterinary clinic in Molalla Oregon.  We were bless with 2 children.  A son who is 36 and a daughter who is 34.  We have 3 wonderful grandsons.

Tom and I were married on 9/11/71 and we moved to Ft. Collins Colorado where he attended Vet School.

I worked to support us while he attended school.  After graduating we wanted to move back to Oregon. We have lived in Oregon, Washington and Northern Cailfornia.  We finally settled in the Silverton-Molalla area.

We have been able to travel across the United States and Canada.  Love the south where the weather is sunny. But I guess Oregon will always be home.

We purchased the Farm that Tom grew up on.  Its located out of Terrebonne by  Smith Rocks.  Hoping some day we would beable to move back to Central Oregon. So far we haven't been able to do so.  We really don't want to move away from our grandkids who live 2 miles away from us.

See all of you in 2015

September 26, 1952 CPA-Clerical Married 3 Brown, Jessie Hill, John Tuck, & Redmond High no no
I came to Redmond when I was 6 years old and have been a Redmondite every since.  That's a total of 51 years.  After graduation, I attended COCC for a year and then married my high school sweetheart 39 years ago in 1971.  I worked for Ed Kelsay at Kelsay Real Estate until the birth of our first of three daughters.  After her birth, I then became a stay at home mom until our third daughter started school.

Since that time, I have worked for the Opportunity Foundation in the products division office, Lifewise Ins. Co. and am now currently employed with Nissen & Meyer, CPA's here in Redmond, for the past 13 years.

I enjoy our grandchildren immensely.  We have 9 of them and they are all special.  They range from almost 18 yrs to 16 months.  Another hobby is cake decorating.  I do everything from birthday, to anniversary to wedding cakes.  Lots of fun and a challenge to boot.  Very rewarding.

Have had a great life.  I guess when you marry your best friend, it can be that way.

May 22, 1952 Unemployed Married 3 Coos River Grade School in Coos Bay, Oregon. Millacoma Junior High in Eastside Oregon. Marshfield High in Coos Bay, Oregon 1/2 year. Finished High School at Redmond High School. yes no
Arrived in Redmond on 1/1967. Moved to Juneau, Alaska in May of 1968. Back to Redmond in September of 1968. After that I was known as the kid from Alaska.

Graduated in 1970. Married my highschool sweetheart Clairetta Meyer on 6/26/1971. We have 3 girls and 9 grandchildren. We have lived in the same house since 1972 in Terrebonne.

Went to work in the plywood industry in September of 1971 and closed the plant in September 1996. Got the oportunity to go to COCC in Bend, which was one of my greatest experiences. After school I had the oportunity of working in telecommunications for several years, Lancair aircraft builders and then was invited to work in printer servicing and repair with a local Bend company. Business slowed down and I left that job. Now I am in between jobs, just enjoying life and looking for new oportunities.

The last 40 years have been rewarding, especially with my family.

Life is as good as your outlook. The beauty of life is reflected by the window of your view.

September 30 Homemaker Married 2 Monmouth Elementary, OR; Brattain Elem., Springfield OR; Independence Elem., OR; Garfield Elem, Corvallis, OR; Highland View Jr. Corvallis, OR; Corvallis HS; Redmond HS! Yes No
Did anyone expect when we graduated that we would be doing what we are doing now?  Not me!

After graduation, I attended and graduated from OSU with a degree in business.  I worked in that for a year, and then jumped into the computer field.  I married Ron Horres in Bellevue, Washington in 1984.  I "retired" from computers (ha!) when my son, Nicholas was born in 1987.  Daughter Valerie was born in 1990.

I've lived in Alaska, California, and Washington.  Oregon called me back when our children were small, and we've lived in Beaverton since 1991.

When you are a stay-at-home-mom, you get to choose what jobs you do.  Being a volunteer is a wonderful thing, and I've worked in the schools, with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, church, and now this reunion thing (!).  I was the mom that was home when my teenagers and a lot of their friends came home after classes, and am happy now that they are all doing well in their lives.

It really doesn't get any better than this, does it?  Oh wait...husband Ron isn't retired yet.  No grandkids, my kids are too young.  Sounds like a lot more fun is coming up!  Can't wait to see you all!
