September 26, 1952 CPA-Clerical Married 3 Brown, Jessie Hill, John Tuck, & Redmond High no no
I came to Redmond when I was 6 years old and have been a Redmondite every since.  That's a total of 51 years.  After graduation, I attended COCC for a year and then married my high school sweetheart 39 years ago in 1971.  I worked for Ed Kelsay at Kelsay Real Estate until the birth of our first of three daughters.  After her birth, I then became a stay at home mom until our third daughter started school.

Since that time, I have worked for the Opportunity Foundation in the products division office, Lifewise Ins. Co. and am now currently employed with Nissen & Meyer, CPA's here in Redmond, for the past 13 years.

I enjoy our grandchildren immensely.  We have 9 of them and they are all special.  They range from almost 18 yrs to 16 months.  Another hobby is cake decorating.  I do everything from birthday, to anniversary to wedding cakes.  Lots of fun and a challenge to boot.  Very rewarding.

Have had a great life.  I guess when you marry your best friend, it can be that way.

February 05, 1952 Marketing Married 4 Newberg, John Tuck, RHS No No

The funny part is, I remember how old the people having 40 year reunions seemed when we were in High School!

Huge thanks to the committee that put together the reunion.  I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

 A quick c.v.:

After RHS, started college and then went on a two-year Spanish-speaking mission for the LDS Church in Chicago.

Graduated from college, Brigham Young University, 1977.

Graduated from Law School, Willamette University, Salem OR, 1980.

Married the lovely Meadena Jill Harker, of Glenwood, Colorado, 1978.

We have four children, Jill, Jamison, Preston, and Juliana.  Two grandchildren.

The picture is Meadena and I with our newest grandaughter on her blessing day in London, May of this year.

I mostly practiced law from 1980 in my own small firm in Corvallis and Portland until I retired from law practice in 2002.

Currently working a small family contracting business.

We still get to Redmond from time to time, to see my brother Pete, and sister Vicki.

I have been richly blessed with a wonderful wife, great kids, beautiful grandchildren, good friends, and an interesting life.

Life has been a lot of things, some expected, some unexpected, but it hasn’t ever been boring!

May 22, 1952 Unemployed Married 3 Coos River Grade School in Coos Bay, Oregon. Millacoma Junior High in Eastside Oregon. Marshfield High in Coos Bay, Oregon 1/2 year. Finished High School at Redmond High School. yes no
Arrived in Redmond on 1/1967. Moved to Juneau, Alaska in May of 1968. Back to Redmond in September of 1968. After that I was known as the kid from Alaska.

Graduated in 1970. Married my highschool sweetheart Clairetta Meyer on 6/26/1971. We have 3 girls and 9 grandchildren. We have lived in the same house since 1972 in Terrebonne.

Went to work in the plywood industry in September of 1971 and closed the plant in September 1996. Got the oportunity to go to COCC in Bend, which was one of my greatest experiences. After school I had the oportunity of working in telecommunications for several years, Lancair aircraft builders and then was invited to work in printer servicing and repair with a local Bend company. Business slowed down and I left that job. Now I am in between jobs, just enjoying life and looking for new oportunities.

The last 40 years have been rewarding, especially with my family.

Life is as good as your outlook. The beauty of life is reflected by the window of your view.

October 03, 1952 Executive Assistant Married 4 Edwin Brown, Jessie Hill, John Tuck, RUHS Yes No
Hello everyone,
I'm sure most of you are thinking the same thing that I am--how in the world did 40 years go by that fast? Yikes!

After high school I moved to the big city (PDX) and worked for Portland General Electric and learned to snow ski (one of my aspirations when I was in high school). In 1973, I married the love of my life, Randy Bunch, and we have been happily married for 37 years. We have 4 children (2 sons and 2 daughters) and 8 grands with another one in the oven--due in January! We live on a 105 acre farm outside of Sweet Home and grow a variety of crops.

While our children were growing up, I mainly worked as a secretary in the Christian school they attended. I finished my bachelor's degree at the tender age of 49 and have worked for Benton Hospice Service in Corvallis for the past 7 years.

I definitely feel that my most important life's work (and most rewarding) has been to be a wife, mother, and grandmother. In fact, I want to quit my job and be a full-time grandma when I grow up :)

God has blessed me above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I am thankful for that undeserved grace.

I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at the reunion! Should be a fun time! Even if you can't make the reunion, take time to update your profile. I would love to hear what you are up to!

March 22 Retired Married 2 Terrebonne, Redmond High, Ione High No No
I moved from Redmond to Ione after our Junior year so missed the RHS graduation. After graduation, I moved to Portland and worked for the county and state and married Bruce in 1973. We have two children and 5 grandchildren and love being grandparents!

Bruce went into the Air Force in the early 1980's so we were able to spend some time traveling around the states and overseas and after he retired we moved back to the Pacific Northwest in late 2000.

We currently have a home in Vancouver, WA and a second home in Manzanita, OR. We spend about half our time at the beach house and enjoy our time at both locations. We enjoy being retired and being able to set our own schedules most of the time (Bruce still works part-time).

Thank you to the organizing group--a big job.
See you soon.
